The Open Hardware Ethervideo mailing list is for discussion of how to design a free/libre/open hardware box that receives video data (e.g. mpeg) over Ethernet and drives a TV/monitor/display. The box can also be an X11 server, and has audio-out. Free/libre/open hardware is documented, so that users can study how it works, write device drivers for free/libre/open-source software (FLOSS), modify it to suit their needs, etc. To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the Open-hardware-ethervideo Archives. Subscribing to Open-hardware-ethervideo
Subscribe to Open-hardware-ethervideo by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you.
