I don't know about markups, but I was sort of hoping the final price
would be less than $700.  From the other responses, I guess that was
unrealistic of me.  As just a hobby developer I won't have much time to
spend with it.  I don't feel I'd get the value out of a $2,000 card.

I suppose I might go more than $700, to support the development cause,
if y'all made a good case for the pricing.
