e.g. glVertex3* or other stuff with > 2 axis? I don't really remember  
anything blatant that is 3D only. Even the depth buffer can be used  
in certain 2D applications: http://supertux.berlios.de/wiki/index.php/ 
SuperTux (IIRC) and others. OpenGL.org even calls "OpenGL is the  
industry's most widely used, supported and best documented 2D/3D  
graphics API". Just curious as to what subset we plan on not  
including, or if that is to wait until we actually start writing code...
