Good job so far.

I like this project. It is an nice place  to learn about hardware design 
and fpga/asic. Thx.

How about a lite version with only one digital output with sound ( hdmi 
/ SiI9190 ) 2D only support but video decode and OpenVG/OpenAL api.
 Can this be done with one chip like spartan3AN ( flash ) or LatticeXP2. 
I think ddr2 is possible with this chips.
An USB port can help also.
