I'm out of time, the rest hopefully tomorrow evening.

I just found the other page as well (after doing all this, of course); 
we'll have to see how these relate and perhaps combine them in some 
way, but I'm out of time right now.

I'll commit to maintaining this thing, i.e. keeping track of things and 
coordinating where necessary, and I'll try to do as much as I can on 
documentation. I've been reading up in my old digital logic book 
recently (Mano & Kime, Logic and Computer Design Fundamentals) and I 
hope to have enough of the basics to learn what else I need to know as 
we go.
