I don't see why you couldn't do the entire thing in Python, Perl,
Ruby, or even Tcl.

I think someone made a comment about not liking Tk, but the fact is,
it's great for rapidly prototyping apps.  I can't think of what the
app might be doing that would make it too slow as a script.
