Since everyone else has already suggested some random new name, here's
mine: Free Interface Graphics, with only 17 google hits on that phrase.
I think it's nice because it says exactly what part of this project is
most important to be free: the interface. Having the synthesizeable
Verilog and the ASIC masks under the GPL would be cool, but I don't get
the impression that this is primarily what the project is about. It IS
about the *interface* being free - free as in free beer AND as in free
speech.
FWIW I think that going through the project documentation to make sure
it references Free Software in preference to Open Source is already a
good conciliatory move to please the FSF.
