Ahhahahahaha.  At least GConf is isolated. (And nobody but deluded
GNOME weirdos use it.)  A weird C dialect, an incomprehensible and
convoluted build system, and bloated shell and Perl interpreters
pervade the entire system.  And now people want to use XML because
it's more 'readable', only to find they need special XML editors to
avoid brain damage.  Reminds me of people who write binary in ascii.

(I suggest ascii.)
