random thoughts.

For a few of the audience being targetted, i wonder if they adequately
realize that there are   serious issues about binary drivers that may
yet come to a head. Only Recently we saw  the gpl was updated and
changed to deal with a percieved problem with software and freedom -
and it can change again. Currently there significant distributors who
also feel there is a problem with these binary drivers.

anyway, looking over the slides..

perhaps putting a high dollar figure when mentioning ASICS is
unnecessary. Those who are in the field know the risks and amounts
involved. Those not in the field may be intimidated by it. They do
need to know the OGP fpga design helps us develop a proven design and
to limit unnecessary expensive ASIC development.  What also might also
help is a mention of how long some of the group have been developing
for ASICS, stressing the experience of several of the developers.
