I believe they'd also like the option to sell into the Windows and
embedded markets.  A Tivo-like device with HD miht need HDCP (not sure
about the broadcast, cable, satellite standards).  So would a Windows
Media Center.

It might even make sense as the video output chip in a BlueRay / HD-DVD
player itself.  I believe that some of the current crop of $40 DVD
players use some PC hardware.
