something that would be really cool would be a dual video capture board 
with 2 outputs, that could be used for a real time video effects 
processor, using an external video router for switching

the ogc would be used as a real time effects generator (wipes, 3d 
things..), and the router (something like a leitch panacea - but we 
could possibly also build our own) used to select sources.

the control surface can be something like a midibox.

adding more OGC card would allow to build a multiple M/E processors 
switch, that could rival those million dollar things from grass valley 
and friends
