That would be best.  If it's convenient for Howard, he can do it too.
Reinforcement is good... when multiple people ask.  When the polite
(!) requests accumulate, they'll work their way up to someone who has
the authority to grant our request.  But the first person we get will
either know a priori that it's okay and tell us so, or they'll say
they can't authorize it, and we ask them who can, etc., and so forth.
