I don't know. IDC Connectors are something everyone who
does some electronics has.. in the dozens. And they
are not expensive at all. At least not compared to
what other connectors cost. You can get one here in
Switzerland the cheap ones for something around 2-5 CHF
(1:1 USD) of 2x50 in single quantities.

The advantage of having it to solder one self is that you
can choose whether you want to have a female or a male
connector on the board, whether you want those reverse
protection, pull releave etc pp.
