Very little or not, the diode is there, so why not use it. He did  
have a point, and iirc all power circuits missed this. So that would  
be D1, D2 and D3 on page 16/17/18.

The argument that cards hitting the marked aren't supported until  
beta drivers are available, at which point you can't actually buy the  
card anymore (last Monday the news got out that R500 is now working  
with open source drivers, but try buying a card with a R500  
chipset..) seemed to get the point across. Don't know what the FAQ is  
saying atm though.

Yes, we should. However as I said, can't remember exactly who he  
was. :) I believe Atilla has contact details.
